text from a picture

We needed to pick a photo in class from a magazine and write a short text about it. This is what I wrote.

Yra vasaros diena. Senas vyras dirba savo sode. Vyro sode auga gėlės. Vyras yra sodininkas. Jo namas yra gražus.

It's a summer's day. An old man works in his garden. In the man's garden flowers are growing. The man is  a gardener. His house is beautiful.

On suvine päev. Vana mees töötab oma aias. Mehe aias kasvad lilled. Mees on aednik. Ta maja on ilus.

I know it's not poetry but it's a decent start after a couple of hours of study. I hope...
