Book smugglers

If you are interested in language and/or Ireland and/or Lithuania and you haven't already seen the Irish-Lithuanian documentary-film The Book Smugglers you should do so. It follows Belfast poet Gearóid Mac Lochlainn and Lithuanian dramatist Albertas Vidžiūnas as they retrace the steps of the 19th century Lithuanian book smugglers who resisted the Russification policy in place by illegally transporting literature in Lithuanian (written in the Latin alphabet) across the border into Lithuania from East Prussia (today's Kaliningrad Oblast).
